Personal data and GDPR

Data processing, legal basis, data-subject rights and cookie handling.

Last updated: 2026-06-18

Processed data

The service does not provide user accounts and does not collect seller contact details beyond data already present in public notices.

When a user requests a public-source summary, Reprendre collects their email, listing identifier, language, request type and timestamp in order to answer that request.

Technical logs may include the IP address, requested URL, timestamp, HTTP status and request identifier to secure and operate the service.

Request retention

Public-source summary requests are kept for a short period, thirty days by default, unless a legal obligation or earlier deletion request applies.

These requests are used to answer the user and measure interest in public data; they are not used to contact the seller.

Cookies and trackers

Reprendre uses an internal consent manager without a third-party CMP provider. Choices are kept in a first-party cookie and in browser local storage for six months.

Limited audience measurement runs only when self-hosted Matomo is configured to remain within the CNIL consent exemption: anonymous statistics, no combination with other processing, no cross-site tracking and limited lifetime.

Advanced analytics, personalization, Meta Pixel, retargeting, advertising attribution, affiliates and session replay are enabled only after explicit consent.

The “Cookie settings” link lets users change or withdraw choices at any time.

Data-subject rights

Access, rectification, deletion or objection requests should specify the relevant notice, page URL and official source.

GDPR rights requests should be sent to [email protected].
